Sura 30 Ar-Rum (The Romans), ayah 30
-
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Translation by words
- فَأَقِمْ
- So set
- وَجْهَكَ
- your face
- لِلدِّينِ
- to the religion
- حَنِيفًا
- upright.
- فِطْرَتَ
- Nature
- ٱللَّهِ
- (made by) Allah
- ٱلَّتِى
- (upon) which
- فَطَرَ
- He has created
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- mankind
- عَلَيْهَا
- [on it].
- لَا
- No
- تَبْدِيلَ
- change
- لِخَلْقِ
- (should there be) in the creation
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah.
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- ٱلدِّينُ
- (is) the religion
- ٱلْقَيِّمُ
- the correct,
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- men
- لَا
- (do) not
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know.
So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. (Adhere to) the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created (all) people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.
