Sura 31 Luqman, ayah 6
-
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ
Translation by words
- وَمِنَ
- And of
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- the mankind
- مَن
- (is he) who
- يَشْتَرِى
- purchases,
- لَهْوَ
- idle tales
- ٱلْحَدِيثِ
- idle tales
- لِيُضِلَّ
- to mislead
- عَن
- from
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) path
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- بِغَيْرِ
- without
- عِلْمٍ
- knowledge,
- وَيَتَّخِذَهَا
- and takes it
- هُزُوًا
- (in) ridicule.
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- عَذَابٌ
- (is) a punishment
- مُّهِينٌ
- humiliating.
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead (others) from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.
31:6
