Sura 32 As-Sajdah (The Prostration), ayah 20
-
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا فَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۖ كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
Translation by words
- وَأَمَّا
- But as for
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- فَسَقُوا۟
- are defiantly disobedient
- فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ
- then their refuge
- ٱلنَّارُ
- (is) the Fire.
- كُلَّمَآ
- Every time
- أَرَادُوٓا۟
- they wish
- أَن
- to
- يَخْرُجُوا۟
- come out
- مِنْهَآ
- from it,
- أُعِيدُوا۟
- they (will) be returned
- فِيهَا
- in it,
- وَقِيلَ
- and it (will) be said
- لَهُمْ
- to them,
- ذُوقُوا۟
- "Taste
- عَذَابَ
- (the) punishment
- ٱلنَّارِ
- (of) the Fire
- ٱلَّذِى
- which
- كُنتُم
- you used (to)
- بِهِۦ
- [in it]
- تُكَذِّبُونَ
- deny."
But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
