Sura 37 As-Saffat (Standing in rows), ayah 30

1. وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ ۖ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ

   Translation by words

   وَمَا

   And not

   كَانَ

   was

   لَنَا

   for us

   عَلَيْكُم

   over you

   مِّن

   any

   سُلْطَٰنٍۭ

   authority.

   بَلْ

   Nay,

   كُنتُمْ

   you were

   قَوْمًا

   a people

   طَٰغِينَ

   transgressing.

   And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.

   37:30
