Sura 37 As-Saffat (Standing in rows), ayah 35

1. إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

   Translation by words

   إِنَّهُمْ

   Indeed, they

   كَانُوٓا۟

   were,

   إِذَا

   when

   قِيلَ

   it was said

   لَهُمْ

   to them,

   لَآ

   "(There is) no

   إِلَٰهَ

   god

   إِلَّا

   except

   ٱللَّهُ

   Allah,"

   يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

   were arrogant

   Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant

   37:35
