Sura 37 As-Saffat (Standing in rows), ayah 62 – 68

1. أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ

   Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum?

   37:62

2. إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِمِينَ

   Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.

   37:63

3. إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ

   Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,

   37:64

4. طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ

   Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils.

   37:65

5. فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِئُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ

   And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies.

   37:66

6. ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِنْ حَمِيمٍ

   Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.

   37:67

7. ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ

   Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.

   37:68
