Sura 38 Sad (The letter Saad), ayah 33

1. رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًا بِالسُّوقِ وَالْأَعْنَاقِ

   Translation by words

   رُدُّوهَا

   "Return them

   عَلَىَّ

   to me."

   فَطَفِقَ

   Then he began

   مَسْحًۢا

   (to) pass (his hand)

   بِٱلسُّوقِ

   over the legs

   وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ

   and the necks.

   (He said), "Return them to me," and set about striking (their) legs and necks.
