Sura 38 Sad (The letter Saad), ayah 35

  1. قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ

    Translation by words

    قَالَ
    He said,
    رَبِّ
    "O my Lord!
    ٱغْفِرْ
    Forgive
    لِى
    me
    وَهَبْ
    and grant
    لِى
    me
    مُلْكًا
    a kingdom,
    لَّا
    not
    يَنۢبَغِى
    (will) belong
    لِأَحَدٍ
    to anyone
    مِّنۢ
    after me.
    بَعْدِىٓ
    after me.
    إِنَّكَ
    Indeed, You
    أَنتَ
    [You]
    ٱلْوَهَّابُ
    (are) the Bestower."

    He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
