Sura 38 Sad (The letter Saad), ayah 5
-
أَجَعَلَ الْآلِهَةَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ
Translation by words
- أَجَعَلَ
- Has he made
- ٱلْءَالِهَةَ
- the gods
- إِلَٰهًا
- (into) one god?
- وَٰحِدًا
- (into) one god?
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- هَٰذَا
- this
- لَشَىْءٌ
- (is) certainly a thing
- عُجَابٌ
- curious."
Has he made the gods (only) one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."
