Sura 38 Sad (The letter Saad), ayah 62

1. وَقَالُوا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَشْرَارِ

   Translation by words

   وَقَالُوا۟

   And they (will) say,

   مَا

   "What (is)

   لَنَا

   for us

   لَا

   not

   نَرَىٰ

   we see

   رِجَالًا

   men

   كُنَّا

   we used to

   نَعُدُّهُم

   count them

   مِّنَ

   among

   ٱلْأَشْرَارِ

   the bad ones?

   And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?

   38:62
