Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 16

  1. لَهُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبَادَهُ ۚ يَا عِبَادِ فَاتَّقُونِ

    Translation by words

    لَهُم
    For them
    مِّن
    from
    فَوْقِهِمْ
    above them
    ظُلَلٌ
    coverings
    مِّنَ
    of
    ٱلنَّارِ
    the Fire
    وَمِن
    and from
    تَحْتِهِمْ
    below them
    ظُلَلٌ
    coverings.
    ذَٰلِكَ
    (With) that
    يُخَوِّفُ
    threatens
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah
    بِهِۦ
    [with it]
    عِبَادَهُۥ
    His slaves,
    يَٰعِبَادِ
    "O My slaves!
    فَٱتَّقُونِ
    So fear Me."

    They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.
