Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 18
-
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
Translation by words
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- يَسْتَمِعُونَ
- they listen (to)
- ٱلْقَوْلَ
- the Word,
- فَيَتَّبِعُونَ
- then follow
- أَحْسَنَهُۥٓ
- the best thereof,
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) they whom
- هَدَىٰهُمُ
- Allah has guided them,
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah has guided them,
- وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- and those
- هُمْ
- are [they]
- أُو۟لُوا۟
- the men of understanding.
- ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
- the men of understanding.
Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.
39:18
