Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 21
-
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَلَكَهُ يَنَابِيعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ حُطَامًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ
Translation by words
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- تَرَ
- you see
- أَنَّ
- that
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- أَنزَلَ
- sends down
- مِنَ
- from
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- مَآءً
- water
- فَسَلَكَهُۥ
- and He makes it flow
- يَنَٰبِيعَ
- (as) springs
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth;
- ثُمَّ
- then
- يُخْرِجُ
- He produces
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- زَرْعًا
- crops
- مُّخْتَلِفًا
- (of) different
- أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ
- colors;
- ثُمَّ
- then
- يَهِيجُ
- they wither
- فَتَرَىٰهُ
- and you see it
- مُصْفَرًّا
- turn yellow;
- ثُمَّ
- then
- يَجْعَلُهُۥ
- He makes them
- حُطَٰمًا
- debris?
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- فِى
- in
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- لَذِكْرَىٰ
- surely, (is) a reminder
- لِأُو۟لِى
- for those of understanding.
- ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
- for those of understanding.
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs (and rivers) in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them (scattered) debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.
39:21
Translation: Saheeh International
