Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 41

  1. إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ لِلنَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِوَكِيلٍ

    Translation by words

    إِنَّآ
    Indeed We,
    أَنزَلْنَا
    We revealed
    عَلَيْكَ
    to you
    ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    the Book
    لِلنَّاسِ
    for [the] mankind
    بِٱلْحَقِّ
    in truth.
    فَمَنِ
    So whoever
    ٱهْتَدَىٰ
    accepts guidance,
    فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ
    then (it is) for his soul;
    وَمَن
    and whoever
    ضَلَّ
    goes astray
    فَإِنَّمَا
    then only
    يَضِلُّ
    he strays
    عَلَيْهَا
    against his (soul).
    وَمَآ
    And not
    أَنتَ
    you
    عَلَيْهِم
    (are) over them
    بِوَكِيلٍ
    a manager.

    Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for (the benefit of) his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them.
