Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 47
-
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ مِنْ سُوءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَبَدَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَحْتَسِبُونَ
Translation by words
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- أَنَّ
- And if
- لِلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ظَلَمُوا۟
- did wrong
- مَا
- (had) whatever
- فِى
- (is) in
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- جَمِيعًا
- all
- وَمِثْلَهُۥ
- and (the) like of it
- مَعَهُۥ
- with it,
- لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟
- they would ransom
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- مِن
- from
- سُوٓءِ
- (the) evil
- ٱلْعَذَابِ
- (of) the punishment
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection.
- وَبَدَا
- And (will) appear
- لَهُم
- to them
- مِّنَ
- from
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- مَا
- what
- لَمْ
- not
- يَكُونُوا۟
- they had
- يَحْتَسِبُونَ
- taken into account.
And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would (attempt to) ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account.
39:47
