Sura 39 Az-Zumar (The Troops), ayah 57

  1. أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ

    Translation by words

    أَوْ
    Or
    تَقُولَ
    it should say,
    لَوْ
    "If that
    أَنَّ
    "If that
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    هَدَىٰنِى
    (had) guided me,
    لَكُنتُ
    surely, I (would) have been
    مِنَ
    among
    ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
    the righteous."

    Or (lest) it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous."

    39:57
