Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 126

  1. وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

    Translation by words

    وَمَا
    And not
    جَعَلَهُ
    made it
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah
    إِلَّا
    except
    بُشْرَىٰ
    (as) good news
    لَكُمْ
    for you
    وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ
    and to reassure
    قُلُوبُكُم
    your hearts
    بِهِۦ
    with it.
    وَمَا
    And (there is) no
    ٱلنَّصْرُ
    [the] victory
    إِلَّا
    except
    مِنْ
    from
    عِندِ
    [near]
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah,
    ٱلْعَزِيزِ
    the All-Mighty,
    ٱلْحَكِيمِ
    the All-Wise.

    And Allah made it not except as (a sign of) good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise -

    3:126
