Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 149
-
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ
Translation by words
- يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
- O you
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe!
- إِن
- If
- تُطِيعُوا۟
- you obey
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve,
- يَرُدُّوكُمْ
- they will turn you back
- عَلَىٰٓ
- on
- أَعْقَٰبِكُمْ
- your heels,
- فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟
- then you will turn back
- خَٰسِرِينَ
- (as) losers.
O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will (then) become losers.
3:149
Translation: Saheeh International
