Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 173
-
الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Translation by words
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- قَالَ
- said
- لَهُمُ
- to them
- ٱلنَّاسُ
- [the people],
- إِنَّ
- "Indeed
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the people
- قَدْ
- (have) certainly
- جَمَعُوا۟
- gathered
- لَكُمْ
- against you,
- فَٱخْشَوْهُمْ
- so fear them."
- فَزَادَهُمْ
- But it increased them
- إِيمَٰنًا
- (in) faith
- وَقَالُوا۟
- and they said,
- حَسْبُنَا
- "Sufficient for us
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- وَنِعْمَ
- and (He is the) best
- ٱلْوَكِيلُ
- [the] Disposer of affairs."
Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it (merely) increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and (He is) the best Disposer of affairs."
3:173
