Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 181

لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ
Translation by words
- لَّقَدْ
- Certainly,
- سَمِعَ
- heard
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- قَوْلَ
- (the) saying
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- قَالُوٓا۟
- said,
- إِنَّ
- "Indeed
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- فَقِيرٌ
- (is) poor
- وَنَحْنُ
- while we
- أَغْنِيَآءُ
- (are) rich."
- سَنَكْتُبُ
- We will record
- مَا
- what
- قَالُوا۟
- they said
- وَقَتْلَهُمُ
- and their killing
- ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ
- the Prophets
- بِغَيْرِ
- without
- حَقٍّ
- (any) right,
- وَنَقُولُ
- and We will say,
- ذُوقُوا۟
- "Taste
- عَذَابَ
- (the) punishment
- ٱلْحَرِيقِ
- (of) the Burning Fire."
Allah has certainly heard the statement of those (Jews) who said, "Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich." We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
