Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 191
-
الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation by words
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- يَذْكُرُونَ
- remember
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- قِيَٰمًا
- standing,
- وَقُعُودًا
- and sitting
- وَعَلَىٰ
- and on
- جُنُوبِهِمْ
- their sides
- وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
- and they reflect
- فِى
- on
- خَلْقِ
- (the) creation
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth,
- رَبَّنَا
- "Our Lord,
- مَا
- not
- خَلَقْتَ
- You have created
- هَٰذَا
- this
- بَٰطِلًا
- (in) vain.
- سُبْحَٰنَكَ
- Glory be to You,
- فَقِنَا
- so save us
- عَذَابَ
- (from the) punishment
- ٱلنَّارِ
- (of) the Fire.
Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or (lying) on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying), "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You (above such a thing); then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
