Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 61
-
فَمَنْ حَاجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَنِسَاءَنَا وَنِسَاءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وَأَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِبِينَ
Translation by words
- فَمَنْ
- Then whoever
- حَآجَّكَ
- argues (with) you
- فِيهِ
- concerning it
- مِنۢ
- from
- بَعْدِ
- after
- مَا
- what
- جَآءَكَ
- came to you
- مِنَ
- of
- ٱلْعِلْمِ
- the knowledge
- فَقُلْ
- then say,
- تَعَالَوْا۟
- "Come,
- نَدْعُ
- let us call
- أَبْنَآءَنَا
- our sons
- وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ
- and your sons,
- وَنِسَآءَنَا
- and our women
- وَنِسَآءَكُمْ
- and your women,
- وَأَنفُسَنَا
- and ourselves
- وَأَنفُسَكُمْ
- and yourselves,
- ثُمَّ
- then
- نَبْتَهِلْ
- let us pray humbly,
- فَنَجْعَل
- and [we] invoke
- لَّعْنَتَ
- the curse
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- عَلَى
- on
- ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
- the liars.
Then whoever argues with you about it after (this) knowledge has come to you - say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly (together) and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars (among us)."
