Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), ayah 83

  1. أَفَغَيْرَ دِينِ اللَّهِ يَبْغُونَ وَلَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ

    Translation by words

    أَفَغَيْرَ
    So is (it) other than
    دِينِ
    (the) religion
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah
    يَبْغُونَ
    they seek?
    وَلَهُۥٓ
    While to Him
    أَسْلَمَ
    (have) submitted
    مَن
    whatever
    فِى
    (is) in
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضِ
    and the earth,
    طَوْعًا
    willingly
    وَكَرْهًا
    or unwillingly,
    وَإِلَيْهِ
    and towards Him
    يُرْجَعُونَ
    they will be returned.

    So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted (all) those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?

    3:83
