Sura 40 Ghafir (The Forgiver), ayah 41

  1. وَيَا قَوْمِ مَا لِي أَدْعُوكُمْ إِلَى النَّجَاةِ وَتَدْعُونَنِي إِلَى النَّارِ

    Translation by words

    وَيَٰقَوْمِ
    And O my people!
    مَا
    What (is)
    لِىٓ
    for me
    أَدْعُوكُمْ
    (that) I call you
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱلنَّجَوٰةِ
    the salvation
    وَتَدْعُونَنِىٓ
    while you call me
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱلنَّارِ
    the Fire!

    And O my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire?

    40:41
