Sura 40 Ghafir (The Forgiver), ayah 53

  1. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْهُدَىٰ وَأَوْرَثْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ

    Translation by words

    وَلَقَدْ
    And certainly,
    ءَاتَيْنَا
    We gave
    مُوسَى
    Musa
    ٱلْهُدَىٰ
    the guidance
    وَأَوْرَثْنَا
    and We caused to inherit
    بَنِىٓ
    (the) Children of Israel
    إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
    (the) Children of Israel
    ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    the Book,

    And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture
