Sura 41 Fussilat (Explained In Detail), ayah 16
-
فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَحِسَاتٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
Translation by words
- فَأَرْسَلْنَا
- So We sent
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- upon them
- رِيحًا
- a wind
- صَرْصَرًا
- furious
- فِىٓ
- in
- أَيَّامٍ
- (the) days
- نَّحِسَاتٍ
- (of) misfortune,
- لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ
- that We may make them taste
- عَذَابَ
- (the) punishment
- ٱلْخِزْىِ
- (of) disgrace
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- the life
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world.
- وَلَعَذَابُ
- And surely, (the) punishment
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- (of) the Hereafter
- أَخْزَىٰ
- (is) more disgracing,
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- لَا
- will not be helped.
- يُنصَرُونَ
- will not be helped.
So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped.
41:16
