Sura 41 Fussilat (Explained In Detail), ayah 25

  1. وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَقَيَّضْنَا
    And We have destined
    لَهُمْ
    for them
    قُرَنَآءَ
    companions
    فَزَيَّنُوا۟
    (who) made fair-seeming
    لَهُم
    to them,
    مَّا
    what
    بَيْنَ
    (was) before them
    أَيْدِيهِمْ
    (was) before them
    وَمَا
    and what
    خَلْفَهُمْ
    (was) behind them,
    وَحَقَّ
    and (is) justified
    عَلَيْهِمُ
    against them
    ٱلْقَوْلُ
    the Word
    فِىٓ
    among
    أُمَمٍ
    nations
    قَدْ
    (that have) passed away
    خَلَتْ
    (that have) passed away
    مِن
    before them
    قَبْلِهِم
    before them
    مِّنَ
    of
    ٱلْجِنِّ
    the jinn
    وَٱلْإِنسِ
    and the men.
    إِنَّهُمْ
    Indeed, they
    كَانُوا۟
    were
    خَٰسِرِينَ
    losers.

    And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them (of sin), and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they (all) were losers.
