Sura 41 Fussilat (Explained In Detail), ayah 39

    Translation by words

    وَمِنْ
    And among
    ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ
    His Signs
    أَنَّكَ
    (is) that you
    تَرَى
    see
    ٱلْأَرْضَ
    the earth
    خَٰشِعَةً
    barren,
    فَإِذَآ
    but when
    أَنزَلْنَا
    We send down
    عَلَيْهَا
    upon it
    ٱلْمَآءَ
    water
    ٱهْتَزَّتْ
    it is stirred (to life)
    وَرَبَتْ
    and grows.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    ٱلَّذِىٓ
    the One Who
    أَحْيَاهَا
    gives it life,
    لَمُحْىِ
(is) surely the Giver of life
    ٱلْمَوْتَىٰٓ
    (to) the dead.
    إِنَّهُۥ
    Indeed, He
    عَلَىٰ
    (is) on
    كُلِّ
    every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing
    قَدِيرٌ
    All-Powerful.

And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.
