Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 13

  1. لِتَسْتَوُوا عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ

    Translation by words

    لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟
    That you may sit firmly,
    عَلَىٰ
    on
    ظُهُورِهِۦ
    their backs,
    ثُمَّ
    then
    تَذْكُرُوا۟
    remember
    نِعْمَةَ
    (the) favor
    رَبِّكُمْ
    (of) your Lord
    إِذَا
    when
    ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ
    you sit firmly
    عَلَيْهِ
    on them
    وَتَقُولُوا۟
    and say,
    سُبْحَٰنَ
    "Glory be (to)
    ٱلَّذِى
    the One Who
    سَخَّرَ
    (has) subjected
    لَنَا
    to us
    هَٰذَا
    this,
    وَمَا
    and not
    كُنَّا
    we were
    لَهُۥ
    of it
    مُقْرِنِينَ
    capable.

    That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have (otherwise) subdued it.
