Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 19
-
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَاثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ
Translation by words
- وَجَعَلُوا۟
- And they made,
- ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
- the Angels,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- هُمْ
- themselves
- عِبَٰدُ
- (are) slaves
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- (of) the Most Gracious,
- إِنَٰثًا
- females.
- أَشَهِدُوا۟
- Did they witness
- خَلْقَهُمْ
- their creation?
- سَتُكْتَبُ
- Will be recorded
- شَهَٰدَتُهُمْ
- their testimony,
- وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ
- and they will be questioned.
And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
43:19
Translation: Saheeh International
