Sura 43 Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of gold), ayah 86
-
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Translation by words
- وَلَا
- And not
- يَمْلِكُ
- have power
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those whom
- يَدْعُونَ
- they invoke
- مِن
- besides Him
- دُونِهِ
- besides Him
- ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ
- (for) the intercession;
- إِلَّا
- except
- مَن
- who
- شَهِدَ
- testifies
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- to the truth,
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know.
And those they invoke besides Him do not possess (power of) intercession; but only those who testify to the truth (can benefit), and they know.
43:86
