Sura 45 Al-Jathiyah (The Crouching), ayah 12

  1. اللَّهُ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

    Translation by words

    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah
    ٱلَّذِى
    (is) the One Who
    سَخَّرَ
    subjected
    لَكُمُ
    to you
    ٱلْبَحْرَ
    the sea
    لِتَجْرِىَ
    that may sail
    ٱلْفُلْكُ
    the ships
    فِيهِ
    therein
    بِأَمْرِهِۦ
    by His Command,
    وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟
    and that you may seek
    مِن
    of
    فَضْلِهِۦ
    His Bounty
    وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
    and that you may
    تَشْكُرُونَ
    give thanks.

    It is Allah who subjected to you the sea so that ships may sail upon it by His command and that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
