Sura 53 An-Najm (The Star), ayah 29

  1. فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا

    Translation by words

    فَأَعْرِضْ
    So turn away
    عَن
    from
    مَّن
    (him) who
    تَوَلَّىٰ
    turns away
    عَن
    from
    ذِكْرِنَا
    Our Reminder
    وَلَمْ
    and not
    يُرِدْ
    he desires
    إِلَّا
    except
    ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
    the life
    ٱلدُّنْيَا
    (of) the world.

    So turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life.
