Sura 57 Al-Hadid (The Iron), ayah 2
-
لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Translation by words
- لَهُۥ
- For Him
- مُلْكُ
- (is the) dominion
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- (of) the heavens
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth,
- يُحْىِۦ
- He gives life
- وَيُمِيتُ
- and causes death,
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) over
- كُلِّ
- all
- شَىْءٍ
- things
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful.
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.
