Sura 5 Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread), ayah 119
-
قَالَ اللَّهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنْفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ ۚ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Translation by words
- قَالَ
- Will say
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah,
- هَٰذَا
- "This
- يَوْمُ
- Day
- يَنفَعُ
- will profit
- ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
- the truthful
- صِدْقُهُمْ
- their truthfulness."
- لَهُمْ
- For them
- جَنَّٰتٌ
- (are) Gardens
- تَجْرِى
- flows
- مِن
- from
- تَحْتِهَا
- underneath it
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
- the rivers
- خَٰلِدِينَ
- will abide
- فِيهَآ
- in it
- أَبَدًا
- forever."
- رَّضِىَ
- is pleased
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- عَنْهُمْ
- with them
- وَرَضُوا۟
- and they are pleased
- عَنْهُ
- with Him.
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- ٱلْفَوْزُ
- (is) the success,
- ٱلْعَظِيمُ
- (the) great.
Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens (in Paradise) beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment.
5:119
Translation: Saheeh International
