Sura 61 As-Saf (The Ranks), ayah 11

  1. تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    تُؤْمِنُونَ
    Believe
    بِٱللَّهِ
    in Allah
    وَرَسُولِهِۦ
    and His Messenger
    وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ
    and strive
    فِى
    in
    سَبِيلِ
    (the) way
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah
    بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ
    with your wealth
    وَأَنفُسِكُمْ
    and your lives.
    ذَٰلِكُمْ
    That
    خَيْرٌ
    (is) better
    لَّكُمْ
    for you
    إِن
    if
    كُنتُمْ
    you
    تَعْلَمُونَ
    know.

    (It is that) you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know.
