Sura 63 Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrites), ayah 1

  1. إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ

    Translation by words

    إِذَا
    When
    جَآءَكَ
    come to you
    ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ
    the hypocrites,
    قَالُوا۟
    they say,
    نَشْهَدُ
    "We testify
    إِنَّكَ
    that you
    لَرَسُولُ
    (are) surely (the) Messenger
    ٱللَّهِ
    (of) Allah."
    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    يَعْلَمُ
    knows
    إِنَّكَ
    that you
    لَرَسُولُهُۥ
    (are) surely His Messenger,
    وَٱللَّهُ
    and Allah
    يَشْهَدُ
    testifies
    إِنَّ
    that
    ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ
    the hypocrites
    لَكَٰذِبُونَ
    (are) surely liars.

    When the hypocrites come to you, (O Muhammad), they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.
