Sura 67 Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty), ayah 19

  1. أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَافَّاتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحْمَٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    أَوَلَمْ
    Do not
    يَرَوْا۟
    they see
    إِلَى
    [to]
    ٱلطَّيْرِ
    the birds
    فَوْقَهُمْ
    above them
    صَٰٓفَّٰتٍ
    spreading (their wings)
    وَيَقْبِضْنَ
    and folding?
    مَا
    Not
    يُمْسِكُهُنَّ
    holds them
    إِلَّا
    except
    ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
    the Most Gracious.
    إِنَّهُۥ
    Indeed, He
    بِكُلِّ
    (is) of every
    شَىْءٍۭ
    thing
    بَصِيرٌ
    All-Seer.

    Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and (sometimes) folded in? None holds them (aloft) except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.
