Sura 68 Al-Qalam (The Pen), ayah 28

1. قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ

   Translation by words

   قَالَ

   Said

   أَوْسَطُهُمْ

   (the) most moderate of them,

   أَلَمْ

   "Did not

   أَقُل

   I tell

   لَّكُمْ

   you,

   لَوْلَا

   'Why not

   تُسَبِّحُونَ

   you glorify (Allah)?'"

   The most moderate of them said, "Did I not say to you, 'Why do you not exalt (Allah)?' "

   68:28
