Sura 68 Al-Qalam (The Pen), ayah 39

  1. أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ

    Translation by words

    أَمْ
    Or
    لَكُمْ
    for you
    أَيْمَٰنٌ
    oaths
    عَلَيْنَا
    from us,
    بَٰلِغَةٌ
    reaching
    إِلَىٰ
    to
    يَوْمِ
    (the) Day
    ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
    (of) the Resurrection,
    إِنَّ
    indeed,
    لَكُمْ
    for you
    لَمَا
    (is) what
    تَحْكُمُونَ
    you judge?

    Or do you have oaths (binding) upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge?

    68:39
