Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 1

  1. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

    Translation by words

    ٱلْحَمْدُ
    (All) the praises and thanks
    لِلَّهِ
    (be) to Allah,
    ٱلَّذِى
    the One Who
    خَلَقَ
    created
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضَ
    and the earth
    وَجَعَلَ
    and made
    ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
    the darkness[es]
    وَٱلنُّورَ
    and the light.
    ثُمَّ
    Then
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    كَفَرُوا۟
    disbelieved
    بِرَبِّهِمْ
    in their Lord
    يَعْدِلُونَ
    equate others with Him.

    (All) praise is (due) to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate (others) with their Lord.
