Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 107
-
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكُوا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِوَكِيلٍ
Translation by words
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- شَآءَ
- (had) willed
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah,
- مَآ
- not (they would have)
- أَشْرَكُوا۟
- associated partners (with Him).
- وَمَا
- And not
- جَعَلْنَٰكَ
- We have made you
- عَلَيْهِمْ
- over them
- حَفِيظًا
- a guardian,
- وَمَآ
- and not
- أَنتَ
- you
- عَلَيْهِم
- (are) over them
- بِوَكِيلٍ
- a manager.
But if Allah had willed, they would not have associated. And We have not appointed you over them as a guardian, nor are you a manager over them.
