Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 150
-
قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَٰذَا ۖ فَإِنْ شَهِدُوا فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُمْ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
Translation by words
- قُلْ
- Say,
- هَلُمَّ
- "Bring forward
- شُهَدَآءَكُمُ
- your witnesses,
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- يَشْهَدُونَ
- testify
- أَنَّ
- that
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- حَرَّمَ
- prohibited
- هَٰذَا
- this."
- فَإِن
- Then if
- شَهِدُوا۟
- they testify
- فَلَا
- then (do) not
- تَشْهَدْ
- testify
- مَعَهُمْ
- with them.
- وَلَا
- And (do) not
- تَتَّبِعْ
- follow
- أَهْوَآءَ
- (the) desires
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- كَذَّبُوا۟
- denied
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- Our Signs
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those who
- لَا
- (do) not
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- in the Hereafter,
- وَهُم
- while they
- بِرَبِّهِمْ
- with their Lord
- يَعْدِلُونَ
- set up equals.
Say, (O Muhammad), "Bring forward your witnesses who will testify that Allah has prohibited this." And if they testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate (others) with their Lord.
6:150
