Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 17
-
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Translation by words
- وَإِن
- And if
- يَمْسَسْكَ
- touches you
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- بِضُرٍّ
- with affliction
- فَلَا
- then no
- كَاشِفَ
- remover
- لَهُۥٓ
- of it
- إِلَّا
- except
- هُوَ
- Him.
- وَإِن
- And if
- يَمْسَسْكَ
- He touches you
- بِخَيْرٍ
- with good,
- فَهُوَ
- then He
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- كُلِّ
- every
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- قَدِيرٌ
- All-Powerful.
And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent.
