Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 28

  1. بَلْ بَدَا لَهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُخْفُونَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَوْ رُدُّوا لَعَادُوا لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

    Translation by words

    بَلْ
    Nay,
    بَدَا
    became manifest
    لَهُم
    for them
    مَّا
    what
    كَانُوا۟
    they used to
    يُخْفُونَ
    conceal
    مِن
    from
    قَبْلُ
    before.
    وَلَوْ
    And if
    رُدُّوا۟
    they were sent back
    لَعَادُوا۟
    certainly they (would) return
    لِمَا
    to what
    نُهُوا۟
    they were forbidden
    عَنْهُ
    from it,
    وَإِنَّهُمْ
    and indeed they
    لَكَٰذِبُونَ
    certainly are liars.

    But what they concealed before has (now) appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to that which they were forbidden; and indeed, they are liars.
