Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 7
-
وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
Translation by words
- وَلَوْ
- And (even) if
- نَزَّلْنَا
- We (had) sent down
- عَلَيْكَ
- to you
- كِتَٰبًا
- a written Scripture
- فِى
- in
- قِرْطَاسٍ
- a parchment
- فَلَمَسُوهُ
- and they touched it
- بِأَيْدِيهِمْ
- with their hands,
- لَقَالَ
- surely (would) have said
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- كَفَرُوٓا۟
- disbelieved,
- إِنْ
- "Not
- هَٰذَآ
- (is) this
- إِلَّا
- but
- سِحْرٌ
- magic,
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear."
And even if We had sent down to you, (O Muhammad), a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic."
6:7
Translation: Saheeh International
