Sura 70 Al-Ma'arij (The Ascending Stairways), ayah 11

1. يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ

   Translation by words

   يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ

   They will be made to see each other.

   يَوَدُّ

   Would wish

   ٱلْمُجْرِمُ

   the criminal

   لَوْ

   if

   يَفْتَدِى

   he (could be) ransomed

   مِنْ

   from

   عَذَابِ

   (the) punishment

   يَوْمِئِذٍۭ

   (of) that Day

   بِبَنِيهِ

   by his children,

   They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children

   70:11
