Sura 76 Al-Insan (The Man), ayah 1

  1. هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ حِينٌ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْئًا مَذْكُورًا

    Translation by words

    أَتَىٰ
    (there) come
    عَلَى
    upon
    ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ
    man
    حِينٌ
    a period
    مِّنَ
    of
    ٱلدَّهْرِ
    time
    لَمْ
    not
    يَكُن
    he was
    شَيْـًٔا
    a thing
    مَّذْكُورًا
    mentioned?

    Has there (not) come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing (even) mentioned?
