Sura 89 Al-Fajr (The Dawn), ayah 15

1. فَأَمَّا الْإِنْسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ

   Translation by words

   فَأَمَّا

   And as for

   ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ

   man,

   إِذَا

   when

   مَا

   does

   ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ

   try him

   رَبُّهُۥ

   his Lord

   فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ

   and is generous to him

   وَنَعَّمَهُۥ

   and favors him,

   فَيَقُولُ

   he says,

   رَبِّىٓ

   "My Lord

   أَكْرَمَنِ

   has honored me."

   And as for man, when his Lord tries him and (thus) is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."

   89:15
