Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 115
-
وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ مَا يَتَّقُونَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Translation by words
- وَمَا
- And not
- كَانَ
- is
- ٱللَّهُ
- (for) Allah
- لِيُضِلَّ
- that He lets go astray
- قَوْمًۢا
- a people
- بَعْدَ
- after
- إِذْ
- [when]
- هَدَىٰهُمْ
- He has guided them
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- يُبَيِّنَ
- He makes clear
- لَهُم
- to them
- مَّا
- what
- يَتَّقُونَ
- they should fear.
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- بِكُلِّ
- (of) every
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- عَلِيمٌ
- (is) All-Knower.
And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
9:115
